You’ve chosen to peak your 2011 cycling season with some of the most demanding european sportives. Your intention is to ride the event, at your best. Yet you are planning to arrive only a couple of days before and without any knowledge of the roads, climbs or descents.
Let me put it this way: You’ve got a presentation to a client, for a multi-million pound contract, that will make you a shining example in your company. You’re not going to do any pre-work and you’re going to walk into the meeting underprepared. Chances are you’ll fluff it and the contract will go to a rival company.
Here at La Fuga, we’re not the kind of people to let you fluff it. Which is why we’ve organised Reccy weekends. Former Massif Central local and La Fuga Director, Ross Muir will impart knowledge about the Etape Act II weekend in a future blog, but for now its the Reccy Weekend in the Alps for June 17 -20.
If you’re riding either Etape Act 1 or La Marmotte, this is the reccy weekend for you. We’ll cover climbs and descents that both events cover, we’ll be staying at the Grand Hotel Valloire et Galibier, a delightful hotel on the route of Act 1.
We’ll give you advice on how to plan your race, bike handling skills, nutrition and much more. The rides over the weekend will be guided with support vehicle. You’ll be able to enjoy the scenery and sociably share the road with fellow Etapistas.
You’ll come away with a clearer idea of the task in hand and the opportunity to secure your best performance of the summer.
To enable your best preparation, you can book the Reccy Weekend here.
