It’s that time of year when we have our Basso Bike Sale. Our excellent fleet of Basso Rental bikes are now for sale having been loved and well cared for during the 4 months of our 2018 tour season. Each of these bikes has had very little use as you will see from the photos.

After a season’s service we are selling our trusted 2018 fleet of Basso road bikes. La Fuga returned to its Italian routes in 2017 teaming up with the Italian road racing bike manufacturer Basso Bikes. This 40 year old company uses its expertise in the motorsport, military and aerospace industry with high-performance carbon fibre manufacture to produce bicycles entirely manufactured in Italy and with no added alloys or metals. As a result the frames are stronger, lighter and perform better than many other bike manufacturer offerings. We will be staying with Basso in 2019, but refreshing our range with a new paint job and some new bling.

All of these bikes have a great spec, minimal use and are in superb condition after being serviced regularly by our professional mechanics. They have all been fully serviced ahead of Basso Bike sale so you can expect a great ride.

Our fleet is made up of Basso Astra Hydraulic Disc with an Asphalt Grey/Black Matt paint scheme. These come with a full Shimano Ultegra di2 Electronic R8070 groupsets and Hunt – Mason X Hunt 4 Season Disc Wheelset with a RRP £4900.00. The Astra is the elegant workhorse of the Basso range combining lightness and strength with easy everyday riding geometry. Not too aggressive, but not shy of mixing it up with the big boys.
